What do you do when someone is seriously injured, help is still minutes away, and the situation is not safe or secure?

TAC Trauma Response is an upcoming hands-on, full-day trauma class for civilians who want practical skills for responding to life-threatening injuries when professional medical care may be delayed and and the situation remains dynamic. The course will combine realistic scenarios, hands-on skills, and threat-aware decision making to prepare participants for challenging situations where traditional first aid classes may not be enough, or when standard first aid care may not be safe.

TAC Trauma Response is focused on medical response—not tactical firearms or building-clearing tactics. Participants will learn how to recognize when medical treatment can be safely provided, where and when to provide care, and how to prioritize treatment as an evolving situation develops.

This course is being created in response to growing interest from civilians in the practical, hands-on trauma training we provide through our TEMS program. While TEMS is intended for active first responders and others working in an official response capacity, TAC Trauma Response brings relevant concepts and skills to civilians in a format tailored to their role.
