Blue Medic Training Solutions is a trusted provider of high-quality medical training for civilians and first responders. Our mission is to equip individuals and organizations with the skills, confidence, and practical experience needed to respond effectively during medical emergencies—whether at home, in the workplace, or in high-risk environments.
While we offer a full range of medical training—from CPR, AED, and First Aid certification to Tactical Emergency Medical Support (TEMS) based on TCCC/TECC guidelines—our specialty lies in trauma care and the critical interventions performed during the first minutes of an emergency. Led by experienced instructors and grounded in nationally recognized standards, our hands-on, scenario-based courses emphasize bleeding control, tourniquet application, wound packing, airway management, and other life-saving interventions that prepare students to act confidently before EMS arrives.
Our commitment to quality extends beyond the curriculum. We continually invest in custom-built bleeding control trainers, realistic medical simulators, and immersive training scenarios that provide meaningful hands-on practice and immediate feedback. This approach helps students build confidence, improve skill retention, and better prepare for real-world emergencies.

About the Owner
Nick Cross is a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) who serves full-time in law enforcement and is an active SWAT operator. A former medic with the Minnesota Army National Guard, Nick brings extensive experience from both tactical and emergency medical environments, underscoring his commitment to preparedness and public safety.
He has completed the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) Basic Tactical Medical Instructor Training Program (BTMITP), STORM Trauma Med Instructor Class, is a certified BLS/AED/First Aid Instructor through HSI, and is a qualified instructor with the Minnesota Board of Fire Training and Education. In addition, he holds multiple other credentials across the medical and first responder disciplines.
Driven by a passion for bridging the gap between medical knowledge and real-world application, Nick founded Blue Medic Training Solutions to deliver high-quality, practical training for both civilians and first responders. His courses range from CPR to Tactical Emergency Medical Support—all designed to ensure that anyone, from everyday citizens to seasoned professionals, has the skills and confidence to perform life-saving interventions when it matters most.
Our Instructors
We work with a team of highly skilled instructors whose experience spans Military, Law Enforcement, SWAT, and EMS/Paramedics. Building on Nick’s experience and leadership, they bring a wealth of real-world, hands-on knowledge that enhances our courses and translates directly into the classroom.
Blue Medic Training Solutions is a private medical training company and is not affiliated with any government agency. We provide CPR and first aid–based emergency care training for civilians and first responders, including programs that adapt core first aid skills for use in dynamic or high-risk environments. Our focus remains on immediate care, patient stabilization, and lifesaving interventions.
