Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED Training

Duration: Approximately 4.5–5.5 hours
Certification: 2 Year HSI (Health and Safety Institute)

This nationally recognized HSI Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED course is designed to prepare participants to recognize, respond to, and manage a wide range of medical emergencies in the critical moments before professional help arrives.

Participants will learn how to assess situations safely, provide life-saving care, and address a variety of medical and traumatic conditions through hands-on practice and instructor-led demonstrations.

Course topics include:

  • Scene and Patient Assessment

  • Adult CPR and AED

  • Bleeding Control and Shock Management

  • Care for Minor Wounds and Burns

  • Tooth Injuries and Nosebleeds

  • Management of Impaled Objects and Eye Injuries

  • Amputations and Internal Bleeding

  • Chest and Abdominal Injuries

  • Head, Neck, and Spine Injuries / Concussions

  • Bone, Joint, and Muscle Injuries

  • Altered Mental Status and Poisoning

  • Breathing Difficulties, Asthma, and Allergic Reactions

  • Heart Attack, Stroke, and Seizures

  • Diabetic Emergencies and Fainting

  • Heat and Cold Emergencies

  • Bites and Stings

Optional Add-On: Infant and Child CPR/AED/Overdose response can be included as an extension of this course (adds approximately 1–2 hours to training time).
