This course is provided through HSI and offers a nationally recognized certification, which may be eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for individuals who work in team environments with access to medical equipment, such as healthcare providers, workplace response teams, and public safety personnel. This course focuses on recognizing and responding to life-threatening emergencies with high-quality CPR and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Participants will learn:

  • The BLS Chain of Survival

  • High-performance CPR for adults, children, and infants

  • Team-based resuscitation techniques

  • Use of AEDs in clinical or on-site settings

  • Effective ventilation and airway management

  • Choking relief for all age groups

The course includes hands-on training, group practice, and scenario-based exercises to build skill and confidence. Upon successful completion, participants receive a two-year certification from a nationally recognized organization.

This class is ideal for professionals in healthcare, law enforcement, fire services, security, and other roles where coordinated emergency response is critical.
